Virtuoso Strings Te Paemanu Korihi Music Academy

The Virtuoso Strings tuition scholarship scheme formalises our commitment to important aspects of the Virtuoso Strings founding trust deed, namely, to provide free, or subsidised, music tuition and instruments to socially or economically disadvantaged children and adults; and to provide opportunities for them to share the musical skills they have gained with the wider community.

All school-age students who fall into one of the following six sub-categories are welcome to apply for a tuition scholarship:

• Māori ancestry

• Indigenous Pacific origins

• Refugee background

• Disability

• Financial hardship

• Marginalised cultural or ethnic group
