March 2025 – Jonathan Lemalu in Concert with Virtuoso StringsThe orchestra performed with Jonathan at Te Manawa, Aotea College and Te Raukura ki Kāpiti, Raumati to a full house on both occasions.
Community Concert at Pātaka
The Performing Arts Studio at Pātaka Art + Museum was bursting at the seams with concertgoers on 14 June. More than sixty players, including some of our newest students as young as six years old, presented a wonderfully varied and entertaining programme.We are exceedingly grateful to Porirua Creative Communities for their financial support, which made this event possible.
June 2025 – NZCT Chamber Music ContestThe Virtuoso Strings Septet performed music by Craig Utting and Teddy Sneyd-Utting. For the third time they won the national award for Best Performance of a New Zealand work.

2021 – NZCT Chamber Music ContestVirtuoso Strings Quintet performing at the national finals in Christchurch.
